Homeowner Recommendations
Keep at least one closet or storage area locked for your personal items. Anything left out is considered ok for your guests to use. |

Put window coverings and screens on all windows. |
|
Each bed, etc should have 2 blankets, 2 pillows and a bedspread/quilt. |
|
Keep extra towels and sheets at the cabin. |
|
At least one television with cable/satellite and DVD. Best if in all bedrooms. |
|
A telephone is not necessary. |
|
Washer and dryer. |
|
BBQ |
|
Dark carpet is best. |
|
No candles, they can be a fire danger. If you like the look and smell of candles, |
|
then just cut off the wicks so they can't be burned. |
|
For more rentals, put in a pool table and hot tub. They will pay for themselves. |
|
Keep cleaning products stocked, such as Windex, Ajax, sponges & scrubbers. |
|
Also dishwashing soap and laundry soap. |
|
Keep plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, light bulbs and batteries (for remotes). |
|
These items should be locked up for the housekeeper to use. |
|
Keep a vacuum cleaner, bags & belts. Also a broom, dustpan & mop. |

KEEP THESE THINGS IN MIND: |

Dishes and small appliances break often. |
|
DVD players break. |
|
Remote controls will disappear. |
|
Carpets will need cleaning several times a year. |
|
Toilets will flood the bathroom. |
|
Furniture will become stained. |
|
Weeds and yard clean up will need to be done a couple times a year. |
|
Windows will need cleaning at least once per year. |
